- Cold Milk
- Olive Oil or coconut oil
- Egg yolks
- Sugar
STEPS
1. Pour some milk into a bowl (about a cup, depending on how much hair you have).
2. Separate the egg yolk from the whites, by cracking the egg and letting the whites pour out, by keeping the yolk in the shell.
3. Place the yolk into a bowl.
4. Pour just enough olive oil in the container to cover the yolk.
5. Put about a teaspoon of sugar into the olive oil/ coconut oil mixture, and stir well.
6. Soak your hair with warm water.
7. Shampoo and condition your hair really well, lather it up and rinse.
8. Now pour the milk over your hair, run a comb through it, and let it sit for 5-8 minutes.
9. Rinse out your hair again, with warm water.
10. Massage the olive oil mixture into your scalp, and let it sit for at least ten minutes.
11. Rinse out your hair with cold water. (this will help get rid of frizz)
12. Dry your hair by shaking it out, or using a hair dryer.
TIPS
- It helps to have the milk cold, when you pour it over your head.
- Your hair may smell like olive oil and eggs after this, which is not desirable! Make sure you rinse it out well, and spray some perfume on it or massage a tiny bit of mousse, gel or hairspray into your hair.
- The olive oil mixture can be warm, but its okay if it is just room temperature.
- When the olive oil mixture is in your hair, put your hair up in a bun and then wrap your hair in plastic wrap, for extra moisturizing benefits. This works best if your hair is warm.
- Try not to yank or rub your hair when drying it.
- You can wrap your hair in a towel after waving it around, to help in a gentle drying process.
- This whole process works a lot smoother if your hair is combed or brushed, and tangle-free.
- Drink plenty of water and eat fruits and vegetables, and other moisturizing foods, for extremely healthy hair!
- Try not to use to many commercial products, which just pump your hair full of chemicals, or blow dry your hair, which makes it dry and brittle. Natural ingredients which you usually find around your kitchen will moisturize and nourish your hair.
WARNINGS!!!!
- If you are allergic to milk or eggs, don't try this formula.
- Don't use too much olive oil, or your hair will become greasy.
- Using a pick instead of a brush would work better for extremely snarly hair.
